Live in the Tea Room

January 27, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Aloha Kakou ~ Join us this Friday night for a special evening of live music with Shaela Noella, Devananda & Tyson Kikuo Hussey.

Shaela Noella Roselena is a songstress with a rich voice sharing simple songs of love and healing to sing along with. She also gives intuitive readings and creates nature flower essences, healing potions, mists, and oils- and believes in the healing power of all these modalities including music. When she is not performing solo gigs she carries songs with her musical groups in Colorado; Las Curanderas (world folk heart songs) and Sumati (Kirtan/devotional songs). It is a great joy for her to return to the Aina with Ohana and Tutu Pele!

Devananda from the Sufi Qwalli music group, Fanna Fi Allah, will be sharing his own soulful sounds fusing flavors from the four corners incorporating traditional music as well as hip hop.

Tyson Kikuo Hussey has an extensive background in Flamenco guitar. Although he grew up Pacific Northwest deeply involved in hip hop culture. At 18 after traveling to Romania and Italy I made my way to Guatemala and Mexico. After he heard el maestro Paco de Lucia he fell in love and has been entranced with flamenco ever since. His love for language and culture naturally evolved from hip hop to flamenco. In his early twenties he moved to Spain to study flamenco guitar, stayed for 8 years living, learning and loving all aspects of Spanish and Andalusian culture. He has performed in Spain and the Pacific Northwest with with world renowned artists like Pedro Cortes, Jesus Montoya, Miguel angel Brito “el more”, Carlos cascante, Jeff Busch and Carlos gajardo”el Indio”. Flamenco is a way of living life and for me where the heart of my soul finds it’s greatest depth of range and its freeest form of expression.

This will be a super sweer collaboration of talented artists!
Check us out for live music, tea culture and high vibe goodness!
